List of Services Available
BCW Design will handle the whole process up until the point the building and resource consents are issued - at this point, the house is allowed to be physically relocated. To break the service down, we will provide the following:- A preliminary assessment:
- If you're doing an off-site removal, whether the proposed house is suitable for the site.
- If you're doing an on-site removal, whether the move can produce a viable second building site.
- Topographical plans, if the boundary pegs are in place and you'd prefer to skip a surveyor.
- Consultation about the best use of the site area, borrowing on Bruce's extensive years doing this work.
- Can provide a copy of the title, if the client has not already done this.
- Drawing up plans and specifications, as required by the council.
- Complete required council documentation, including the building and resource consent applications.
- Can supply recommendations for building certifiers, if you're doing an off-site move.
- Lodging the building and resource consents, on behalf of the client.
- Liaising with the council for any queries they may have, on behalf of the client.

Ideally, prior to obtaining a consultation, the client should already have the following:- A copy of the title.
- A copy of the public and private drainage plans from council.
- Topographical plans, if this has been done previously for a prior subdivision.
