BCW Design is owned and run by Bruce Wood, a veteran in the house removal industry whose career has stretched 30 years
dedicated to the relocation of houses and other buildings. He has spent 11 years working directly with New Zealand's largest new house relocation company, a further 14 years with a notable New Zealand relocation house company, and has been working independently since 2007 when he formed his own business. One of the first draughtsmen to obtain the Licensed Building Practitioner qualification when introduced by the Government in 2012, he is potentially the most experienced house removal draughting specialist in the country.
Bruce will assist you with house removals anywhere from Cape Reigna to Waikato region, handling the entire process from the time you're looking at moving a house, to the point that the house is ready to be moved. He'll assist the client with any question or queries they have about the removal process, documents and paperwork required up until the building and resource consents are issued - and beyond. Beyond his profession, Bruce is also an avid woodturner (Bahat) and can frequently be found presenting and demonstrating at woodturning guild's across the country. He has always enjoyed woodworking, though his love of the finesse and creativity of the typically small-sized turned pieces his focus is now almost solely on this beautiful art form, although in the past he has also done bone-carving and model making. Bruce is currently President of the South Auckland Woodturners' Guild in Papatoetoe.
